Chelsea have posted an injury update, with information on the nine players that currently find themselves out of action. Mauricio Pochettino's side will take on Wimbledon in the second round of the Carabao Cup at home on Wednesday.
The list of footballers includes Carney Chukwuemeka, who came off in the match against West Ham with a knee injury, and underwent surgery last week. The club say he is "recovering well post-surgery and starting rehabilitation".
As for Wesley Fofana and Christopher Nkunku, they both find themselves "continuing with the early stages" of their recovery, both having missed the opening three matches of the Premier League.
Marcus Bettinelli, Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James and Mykhailo Mudryk, the club writes that they are all "continuing to undergo [their] rehabilitation programmes", but there is light at the end of the tunnel for Benoit Badiashile and Armando Broja, who are at the "end stages" of their recovery and could be back in action soon.
